| Our billing and insurance department is available
to answer questions Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Our
practice participates in many local insurance plans as well as Medicare
and Medicaid. We will need to make copies of all or your insurance cards
for our files, so please bring them with you. If you change your address,
phone number, employer and/or insurance coverage, please notify our receptionist.
If you are a member of an HMO or PPO, please check to see that your Great Valley Cardiology physician is listed in the particular provider manual. Be sure to bring a completed referral slip from your primary care physician if one is required by your plan. We accept Medicare assignment and will file your claim and will file your paperwork. For office visits, you will be required to pay your deductible and copayment at the time of service. You may pay by cash, personal check, Visa or MasterCard. Remember that you are ultimately responsible for any portion of your account that your insurance company or Medicare does not pay. If your account is past due, please discuss your situation with one of our billing clerks so that we can help you find a solution. If your care involves a hospital stay or outpatient procedure, please be aware that you will receive a separate bill from the hospital and any other specialists who have consulted with your physician during your stay. |
