 Dr.
Galanakis joined Great Valley Cardiology in 2002 as an Interventional Cardiologist.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the Society
for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Galanakis also services
as the Director of the Vascular Laboratory at Mercy Hospital, Scranton.
Dr. Galanakis received his medical degree from the University of Athens Medical School, Athens, Greece. He completed his residency at Washington Hospital, Washington, DC, where he also served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. Dr. Galanakis completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology at Lankenau Hospital at Thomas Jefferson University. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. |
